Tuscaloosa: Summer Concert for Families This Saturday

A summer concert will take place Saturday, June 24, in Midtown Village.

Referred to as The Ultimate Summer Night, the free event runs from 6-8 p.m. in and around the Midtown Village Park.

Hosted by Midtown Village, the shopping center’s website states that the night will feature live music, food trucks, and activities for kids.

A recent press release provided more details about the event, which will be the first of its kind for Midtown Village.

Kid’s activities include a bounce house, airbrush face painting, interactive games, and free airbrush T-shirts.

Hungry families can also eat dinner at the event. Many local vendors will be present, including BobaMania, Cheese Louise and Rita’s of Tuscaloosa. Alcohol will be also be available for purchase from Bubbles and Brews.

Throughout the night, live music will be played by local rock group, Fents the Band. Here's a sample of their music.

Hollyann Bemis, the marketing associate for Midtown Village said that it will be a fun event that has something for all ages. “Everyone is welcome, including pets!”

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to join in on the fun this Saturday in Midtown Village.
