Cavender’s Boot City Sets Late March Opening Date for Tuscaloosa Store
The newest addition to Tuscaloosa's Midtown Village will open later this month as Cavender's Boot City finalizes its Western wear store there.
As the Thread previously reported, Cavender's will offer cowboy boots, jeans, hats, dresses, belts, and accessories in what used to be Party City on the south side of the shopping center.

The Texas-based brand has more than 130 stores in 18 U.S. states, including four others in Alabama.
On Monday, the company announced that the Tuscaloosa grand opening will be on Friday, March 27th.
They said the store will offer Ariat, Wrangler, Resistol, and some Cavender’s exclusive brands, including Rockin’ C, Rafter C, and JRC & Sons.
Cavender's will be more than a retail space, they said, and will offer boot-fitting, hat-shaping, and more to customize their apparel to individual customers.
The My Cavender’s brand loyalty program will also be available and honored at the Tuscaloosa location.
After they open later this month, Cavender's will be open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
They are also still taking applications for staff at the Midtown Village storefront, and customers or potential employees can learn more at www.cavenders.com.
