Mountain High Outfitters Moves Tuscaloosa Store to Midtown

A popular outdoor and apparel retailer is moving to a different shopping center in Tuscaloosa.

Where Will the New Mountain High Outfitters Be Located in Tuscaloosa?

Mountain High Outfitters, currently located in the Shoppes at Legacy Park, will move to a new 5,000 square foot store in Suite 310 of Midtown Village.

When Will Mountain High Outfitters Open in Tuscaloosa's Midtown Village?

The retailer will host a Grand Opening on June 6, 2026, offering limited-time discounts and a chance to win a $500 gear giveaway. Refreshments will also be provided.

"We couldn't be more excited to relocate and become an even bigger part of the active, outdoor community, and now is our time to get more involved and give back,” said Mountain High Outfitters Owner, Chris Groom, in a press release.

Have Other Stores Moved to Midtown Village in Tuscaloosa?

Mountain High Outfitters isn't the first retailer to make the move to Midtown Village. American Eagle and Aerie relocated from University Mall in 2021, with Buckle moving to its new location in 2024.
