An arrest has been made after a shooting that took place at the Grand at Rum Creek Apartments in Tuscaloosa earlier this month.

Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit responded to a call on April 14 on multiple reports of gunfire at the complex where six unoccupied vehicles, one unoccupied apartment and five occupied apartments were struck by bullets.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

Investigators identified Christian D'Ryan Adams, 19, as the suspect. During interviews, Adams allegedly confessed to committing the acts and identified himself in video footage of the shooting.

Adams was charged with five counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied building and six counts of discharging a firearm into an unoccupied vehicle. He was booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail on a combined bond of $240,000.

All 11 charges filed against Adams are felonies.

As of Friday morning, he was no longer publicly listed as an inmate in the jail and may have been released on bail. His mugshot was not unavailable Friday morning.
