"We are super excited to be able to bring Movies in the Park back for a third year," said David DuBose, the Market President of Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa, which operates eight local radio stations and the Tuscaloos Thread. "This is one of the only free family events in Tuscaloosa. Folks can gather the kids, get outside and enjoy these free family movies for six Saturdays in June and July. Our sponsors make this event possible."

Families are encouraged to come out just after dusk for a film and buy local eats from participating area food trucks. After the movie, there will still be time to head back home for bedtime.

The series will begin on June 3rd with the classic Homeward Bound.

The love for animals continues the next week on June 10th when we'll be showing the Disney classic The Lion King on the big screen.

Football fans will enjoy another throwback from the Disney catalog on June 17 with a screening of Remember the Titans.
We're headed to the classroom with Akeelah and the Bee on June 24th.
Anyone with pets? You'll love checking out Clifford The Big Red Dog on the big screen at Government Plaza on July 1st.
We wrap up the movie series with a lovable classic, Ferris Bueller's Day Off on July 8th, the only PG-13 movie in the list.

If you're a food truck or business owner looking to secure vendor space at the event, reach out to Denisha Patel at Denisha.Patel@townsquaremedia.com.
