Tuscaloosa Woman Dies After Single Car Crash In Sumter County
According to a WTOK, an Alabama woman passed away following a single-car crash in Sumter County.
WTOK reports that 57-year-old Pearlie M. Ivy died after a Saturday morning traffic incident on Alabama 116. ALEA reported Ivy's car left the roadway and struck a signpost and a driveway headwall before going airborne.
Authorities report that her vehicle also struck several trees.

According to WTOK's report, Ivy was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 12:50 a.m.
WTOK also mentioned the crash happened near Spring Valley Church Road in Sumter County. Their report states that the cause of the crash is still unknown.
