
Motorcyclist Killed, 14-Year-Old Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 69 South
A Sawyerville man was killed Wednesday evening in a two-vehicle crash on Alabama 69 south of Tuscaloosa, according to Alabama State Troopers.
Willie P. Bryant, 60, was thrown from his 2004 Honda VTX1300C motorcycle after it was struck by a 2024 Chevrolet Blazer driven by a Tuscaloosa woman. Bryant was pronounced dead at the scene.
Trooper Jaylon James, a spokesperson for ALEA, said the crash occurred at approximately 8:15 p.m. Wednesday on Alabama 69 near the 137-mile marker, about four miles south of the Tuscaloosa city limits.

Taylor was injured and transported to DCH Regional Medical Center for treatment. A 14-year-old passenger in the Blazer was also injured and taken to a local hospital.
Troopers with ALEA's Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
