A local high school football coach is now facing drug charges.

WVUA 23's Chelsea Barton reports volunteer coach Eddie Lee Doss was arrested on three counts of distribution of a controlled substance. Pickens County District Attorney Andy Hamlin says the arrest occurred Tuesday, October 13 after an investigation led by the 24th Circuit District Attorney’s Office and Criminal Investigations Division with assistance from the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office.

Doss served as a volunteer coach for the Pickens County High School football team. He is currently being held in the Pickens County Jail on a bond of $15,000.
