Tuscaloosa will begin the week with road closures as ALDOT plans to continue work the crimson arch bridge over McFarland Boulevard.

The Alabama Department of Transportation announced it will close the eastbound lanes of McFarland Boulevard/Highway 82 from 11 p.m. Monday, June 7, until 5 a.m. on Tuesday, June 8. ALDOT plans to remove temporary supports from underneath the bridge.
ALDOT anticipates project completion by late summer.
