Skyland Boulevard West Closed Wednesday Afternoon After Semitruck Overturns
A commercial vehicle crash has shut down the westbound lanes on Skyland Boulevard near Interstate 59 on Wednesday afternoon.
The single-vehicle crash, which involved an overturned commercial vehicle, occurred at approximately 12:34 p.m. Wednesday near the I-59 Exit 76 off-ramp in Tuscaloosa County, according to Sergeant Reginal King of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
He said the westbound lanes of Skyland Boulevard are blocked and will remain closed for an undetermined amount of time.
Troopers with ALEA's Highway Patrol Division are on scene investigating and will continue to monitor the situation.
