Police have apprehended three suspects in connection with a murder in Tuscaloosa Sunday and still seek a man wanted for capital murder for a slaying at Snow Hinton Park.

Captain Jack Kennedy, Commander of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit, says authorities were able to locate 22-year-old Chakyla Deambri "Poot" Scarbrough Friday night. Scarborough was wanted for the Sunday murder of 23-year-old Kortnei Kelvontaye Mills at the Legacy at Country Club Apartments.

Authorities apprehended 25-year-old Charles Deandre "CJ" Newton, Jr. Thursday night and another person, Nelson Beville, was taken into custody earlier this week in connection with Mills' murder.

Authorities continue to seek a capital murder suspect: Davaras Rayshun "Ray Ray" Grayson.

Warrants have been issued to charge Grayson with capital murder in connection with a shooting at Snow Hinton Park Saturday, June 4, that claimed the life of 21-year-old Lorenzo Deairos Graham, who was shot dead in the park as his 1-year-old son sat nearby.

Anyone with information on Grayson's whereabouts is urged to contact local law enforcement immediately. Kennedy warned that any person who knowingly obstructs or hinders the investigation, identification, or apprehension of any of the suspect will be investigated and could also be criminally charged, if appropriate.
