Police Investigating Late-Night Shooting at Knoll Circle Apartments in Northport
Law enforcement officials are investigating a shooting that occurred late Monday night at a Northport apartment complex.
Northport Police Department Chief Keith Carpenter said NPD was called to Knoll Circle apartments on 17th Street in Northport at approximately 11:55 p.m. Monday, June 8.
The investigation has been turned over to the Tuscaloosa County Violent Crimes Unit.
The VCU holds exclusive jurisdiction within Tuscaloosa County for the investigation of all homicides and violent crimes.
No further details have been released at this time.
