Lane Closures to Impact McFarland Boulevard Drivers Today

Motorists are advised of potential delays along McFarland Boulevard today as ALDOT has planned lane closures for a portion of one of the city's busiest thoroughfares.

John D, McWilliams, Public Information Officer for ALDOT, tells The Tuscaloosa Thread outside lanes of both the east and westbound lanes of McFarland Boulevard will be closed today; this closure only impacts the portion of the roadway that is underneath the I-20/59 bridge.

McWilliams says that all lanes should reopen around 4 p.m.
