USA Duathlon to Cause Multiple Road Closures in Tuscaloosa, Alabama This Weekend

The USA Duathlon National Championships return to Tuscaloosa this weekend, and multiple road closures are planned as athletes compete on the race courses along the Black Warrior River.

The following roads will be open to local traffic only from 5 a.m. until approximately 4:30 p.m. Saturday, May 22, and from 5 a.m. until approximately 12 noon Sunday, May 23:

• Jack Warner Parkway between Crescent Ridge Road and the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater
• Exit ramps from McFarland Boulevard to Jack Warner Parkway
• Greensboro Avenue from 4th Street to the north end
• Alabama 297 between Jack Warner Parkway and Rice Mine Road

Participating athletes will run and bike along the Tuscaloosa River Walk and Jack Warner Parkway in rounds of competition Saturday and Sunday. Additional information about the event can be found HERE.
