ALDOT aims to fully rebuild US-11 at Middle Coaling Road and Ed Stephens Road in Coaling to improve mobility in the area.

McWilliams said a contractor, Abramson, was awarded the project at $6.2 million. They will install temporary, portable traffic signals to help manage traffic flow during the project, he said.

McWilliams and ALDOT said motorists should expect possible delays and are encouraged to observe work-zone speed limits.
