Karen, 50, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021.

She is preceded in death by her mother Ruth and sister Tammy. She is survived by her father Louie “Buster” Smith, sister Lisa Price, children Katye McDill (Josh) and Braxton Barr, granddaughter Lilly McDill, niece Lani (Jason), great-niece Ella and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Karen was such a kind and generous person. She loved her family and they meant so much to her. She always put everyone else ahead of herself and wouldn’t hesitate to help, no matter what. Not only did she do so much for other people she also did so much for animals. She rescued and found homes for hundreds of cats all on her own, and she never failed to go above and beyond for those in need.

She was truly one of a kind and her loss will be felt by many. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
