John Leland “Billy” Holladay (May 6th, 1955 – May 31st, 2026)

John Leland "Billy" Holladay, better known as Billy, 71, of Moundville, Alabama, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, May 31, 2026.

Born on May 6, 1955, in Moundville, Alabama, Billy lived a life defined by hard work, dedication, and a love for his family and the outdoors. He faithfully served as an employee of BFGoodrich for 33 years, where he earned the respect of coworkers and friends through his strong work ethic, reliability, and character.

Billy found his greatest joy outdoors. Whether he was hunting, fishing, or simply spending time in his shop, he cherished every opportunity to be outside.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Tammie Holladay; his children Jason Holladay (Laura) and Candice Pate (Jason); and his grandchildren Drew Holladay, Brody Holladay, Kinley Pate, Presley Pate and Chase Pate. He also leaves behind his two beloved sisters Ann Glass (Richard) and Louise Johnston (Ray), and his nieces, nephews, family members and friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.

Though our hearts are saddened by his passing, we are at peace that he is no longer suffering.

Family will have a private service at a later time.
