No Evidence Of Political Motive In McFeeters’ Office Intrusion
Security video in the insurance office of the man challenging Republican gubernatorial nominee Tommy Tuberville's residency shows a masked man breaking into and ransaking his office Wednesday.
GOP primary runner-up Ken McFeeters is not blaiming his former political opponent for the break-in but he does say he knows a number of the senator's supporters are angry that he continues to question Tuberville's residency and has taken it to the Alabama Republican Executive Committee.

McFeeters says the intruder cut a large two by three foot hole in the side of his Bessemer building, bypassed the alarm system and ransacked the office, apparently looking for something.
McFeeters believes the incident was not a normal overnight break-in. He descibed the damage done to the office, “He came in and ransacked my office, ransacked the kitchen, went into our file room, broke a door off in our file room,”
As of this monring, the Bessemer Police Department has stated there is noting to this point that would indicte the break-in was politically motivated.
McFeeters has repeatedly questioned Tuberville's legal residence since January. State law requires a person to have lived in Alabama for seven years to serve as Governor or Lt. Governor. Tuberville's campaign has repeatedly stated he is a resident of the state and can prove it.
McFeeters' primary election challenge questioning Tuberville’s eligibility to run for governor will advance to a final hearing at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 14.
