Alabama center fielder Caden Rose has been drafted as the No. 208 overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft by the Boston Red Sox.

The Ala., native has spent three seasons at the Capstone (2021-23). Last season, he recorded 45 runs, 40 hits, 26 runs batted in, 26 walks, ten doubles, nine home runs, nine stolen bases, and a .261 batting average.

Rose is the fourth Alabama player to be drafted this year, joining pitchers Hunter Furtado and Grayson Hitt and right fielder Andrew Pinckney.
