Tuscaloosa, AL - The Crimson Tide's offensive line took a big step in the right direction this season, cutting the sack total in half compared to 2023. In addition, the 2023 roster struggled with errant snaps, while the 2024 team did not as much. Washington transfer center Parker Brailsford has returned the center position to the expected level at Alabama.

Brailsford gave Alabama an early Christmas present, announcing on Thursday that he would return to the Crimson Tide for the 2025 football season.

Brailsford started all 12 games at center for Alabama and paved the way for the Crimson Tide's success in 2024.

The 6-foot-2, 290-pound center from Mesa, Arizona, committed to Kalen DeBoer at Washington and spent two seasons in Seattle with DeBoer, where he started all 15 games during Washington's national championship appearance last season, earning Freshman All-Ameican honors.

Brailsford transferred to Tuscaloosa in January 2024, earning the starting center spot during his first Fall camp with Alabama. Brailsford ended the season with 65 knockdown blocks and finished the season with six games where he did not allow a sack, pressure, or quarterback hit.

Brailsford's presence along the offensive line will certainly help the new left guard, assuming Tyler Booker enters the NFL draft, and a new quarterback should Jalen Milroe decide to go to the NFL.
