Alabama Adds In-State Defensive Lineman to 2027 Recruiting Class
Alabama wrapped up its annual A-Day scrimmage on Saturday afternoon, and the Crimson Tide had several top recruits on campus. The Crimson Tide added an in-state defensive lineman to its 2027 recruiting class, with McGill-Toolen defensive lineman AJ Pauley committing to Alabama, according to Touchdown Alabama.

The 6-foot-5, 290-pound defensive lineman chose the Crimson Tide over the Florida State Seminoles, the Michigan Wolverines, and the Ole Miss Rebels.
"Roll Tide!" Pauley said in his commitment post.
Pauley is a 6-foot-5, 255-pound defensive lineman from McGill-Toolen High School in Mobile, Alabama. He's ranked as the No. 539 overall prospect in the class, the No. 64 defensive lineman, and the No. 21 player in the state of Alabama, according to 247 Composite rankings.
He's the fourth commitment to join the Crimson Tide's 2027 recruiting class:
Four-star quarterback Trent Seaborn
Three-star tight end Colt Lumpris
Three-star defensive lineman AJ Pauley
Three-star tight end Oakley Keegan
Alabama's recruiting will pick up with official visits taking place in May and June over the summer.
