Imogene "Jean" Jenkins was born on September 7,1929 in Lamar County, Alabama to the late Brady and Willie Rae Guin Jenkins. She passed away on April 20, 2022 at the age of 92.

Survivors include her son, Eric Jenkins; sister, Jennifer (Doug) Butler; brother, Douglas (Pam) Jenkins; niece, Cheri (Chad) Nelms; and nephews, Craig (Tina) Butler, Brandon (Kathryne) Jenkins and Kip Jenkins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Brady and Willie Rae Guin Jenkins and her brother, Hootie Jenkins.

Jean spent most of her life in Fayette and Lamar County. She worked in many of the textile plants in and around those counties.

She was a talented seamstress. Jean was a very happy and content person. She loved animals, especially her dogs who were her constant companions.

1 Corinthians 13:13; Three things will last forever: faith, hope and love and the greatest of these is love. Her love for her family and our love for her will be with us always and forever.
