Half County, Half Rock: HARDY to Headline Summer Show at Tuscaloosa Amphitheater
An up-and-coming musician trying to marry his Nashville country roots with serious rock-and-roll will headline a show in Tuscaloosa this summer, promoters announced Monday morning.
Red Mountain Entertainment, who books all shows at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater, said HARDY will bring his the mockingbird & THE CROW Fall Tour to the Druid City on Friday, September 1st.
The tour is named after HARDY'S hit single of the same name, which serves as a good sample of his new half-country, half-rock album.
The first half of the song is standard country fare, a nostalgic ballad about bass fishing and Sweet Home Alabama. Then the key and the mood both change and the track becomes more Metallica than Appalachia.
The Tuscaloosa show is scheduled for Friday, September 1st at 7:30 p.m. and will feature special guests Lainey Wilson & Dylan Marlowe.
Tickets will be available this coming Friday, May 12th, at 10 a.m. on ticketmaster.com and at the Amphitheater box office.
