Daniel Eugene Johnson (September 13th, 1960

Daniel Eugene Johnson, age 61 of Akron, AL, passed away on May 8, 2022 at DCH Regional Medical Center.

Services will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Five Mile Primitive Baptist Church in Akron with Elder Luke Laird officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church.

He is preceded in death by his sister; Carol Sanders, brother; Allen Levi Johnson, and his father; IL Johnson.

He is survived by his sisters; Arleen Moore (Ronald), Sharon Adair (Danne'), brothers; Ivan Johnson (Vivian), Lewis Johnson (Brenda), and his mother Barbara Gilley and sister-in-law; Andal Johnson.

Pallbearers will be Brent Kendrick, Tracy Nolfe, Jason Sanders, Kendall Hadaway, Matthew Spandler Davison, and Joshua Johnson.
