Bessie Thomas Watkins (September 13th, 1938 – June 10, 2022)

Bessie Thomas Watkins, age 83 of Akron, passed away at Whitfield Regional Hospital on June 10, 2022.

Services were held on Friday, June 17 at 11:00 am at Shiloh Baptist Church in Ralph, Alabama with Bro. Bryan Allen officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing.

Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Watkins was preceded in death by James Thomas, Junior Thomas, Hellen Thomas Brandon, Curtis Thomas, Charles Thomas, Betty Thomas Howard, Nina Thomas Halman, and Doshie Thomas.

Survivors include her husband William Watkins, sons; Barry Watkins and Michael Watkins, brothers; Kenny Thomas, Larry Thomas, Chester Thomas, grandchildren; Mitchell Watkins, Eric Watkins, Tyler Watkins, Jason Watkins, and Mallory Watkins, great grandchildren; Maddie Watkins, Bryck Watkins, Lincoln Watkins, Anna Watkins, Ember Watkins, and Caspian Wheat.
