TUSCALOOSA-- After a year long hiatus where the NCAA did not release the academic progress rate (APR) for its athletic programs, the Alabama Men's Basketball team returned with the highest reported score in program history.

The reports, which were calculated during the 2020-2021 school year, stated that Alabama Men's Basketball finished with a perfect score of 1000. This score is the highest for the program in its history since the NCAA began recording the APR for its involved universities in 2004.

Five players graduated during the spring commencement in 2021. Herb Jones, John Petty III, Alex Reese, Tyler Barnes, and Britton Johnson's commitment to academics helped to boost the team's overall score to the highest possible level.
