The contractor announced it will begin resurfacing work on Alabama Highway 215 on Wednesday, August 4th, for the portion of the road that runs between Greensboro Avenue and Edward Hilliard Drive.

ALDOT says lane closures will only be in place between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. in an attempt to reduce traffic, but motorists should still anticipate delays.

The $2.66 million project was awarded to Midsouth Paving and is expected to be completed in late 2021.
