“Live at the Plaza”, “Out & About” with Mayor Maddox Cancelled Friday Due to Weather

Friday's Live at the Plaza concert has been cancelled due to the heat advisory and threat of severe weather issued by the National Weather Service for Tuscaloosa.

The City of Tuscaloosa announced the cancellation on Facebook Friday afternoon.

During tonight's show, Mayor Walt Maddox and City Council District 7 Councilman Cassius Lanier were set to appear for "Out & About," a series Maddox created "to be accessible and accountable to the people who pay my salary," according to a post on Maddox's Facebook account.

Maddox said he plans to reschedule the launch date for another event and will post an update once the makeup date is scheduled.

TL Davis & The Headlinerz and The Locked Band were set to perform during Friday's show.
