Great American Cookie and Marble Slab Creamery Set to Open in Northport Next Month
Northport will become the home of the first Marble Slab Creamery and the second Great American Cookie shop in Tuscaloosa County next month when the storefront combining the two dessert chains opens on July 6.
Both businesses, which are part of the same parent company FAT Brands Family, will operate in the North Square Plaza located on McFarland Boulevard next to the new Planet Fitness and City Hall.
Heidi Holliday, the regional manager for the company, confirmed the opening date with the Tuscaloosa Thread Tuesday afternoon after posting the news first on Facebook.
Holiday said the company will celebrate with a grand opening on the same date.
