A Woodstock man was killed in a single-vehicle wreck early Friday morning in Bibb County, officials have confirmed.

Justin O'Neal, a spokesperson for the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, said the crash occurred at approximately 5 a.m. on Friday, October 29.

Richard R. Brandy, 52, was driving his 1993 Mazda B2600 along Bibb County 24 when his car left the roadway and struck a tree.

Brandy was pronounced dead at the scene. O'Neal confirmed he was not wearing his seatbelt.

The crash occurred approximately thee miles east of West Blocton.

Nothing further is available at this time, as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency's Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
