Tilda Faye Hyche Bohannon, age 84 of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, passed away on October 23, 2021 at her home.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Fayette, Alabama, with Rev. Bernie Deffinger officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing. A visitation will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Magnolia Chapel South from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon.

Bohannon is preceded in death by her husband, Max O' Bohannon, parents; Gerlous Edward Hyche and Mattie Lorene Salter Hyche, sister; Betty Fulmer, and brothers; Edward Hyche and Bill Hyche.

Survivors include her daughter; Debbie Bohannon Wenth, son; William Max Bohannon, sisters; Barbara Ash, Linda Sue Etheredge, Sharon Daniels, and Roberta Blackwell, brothers; Don Hyche, Leon Hyche, and Robert Hyche, and her grandchildren; Megan Wenth, Lauren and Brad Walker, John and Kayla Wenth, Seth Bohannon, and Max Bohannon.

Family said she had a smile that lit up a room and a laugh that you could recognize anywhere. She was one of a kind and her love and loyalty were unmatched. No matter what she always supported her family and was willing to do anything for them. She was a giver, and she always wanted to take care of anyone that came into her life. The family said they learned so much from her, and we will always remember the memories we made with her. She was simply the best!

Pallbearers will be John Wenth, Seth Bohannon, Max Bohannon, Brad Walker, Ashton Ware, Tyler Davis. Honorary pallbearers are Terry, Keith and Ross Etheredge, Trey Hollis, Amedisys Hospice Care, Susan and Rod Alexander, David and Cheryl Dickey, and Jerry and Kristie Bohannon.
