The concert is set for Thursday, September 2nd, and will kick off at 7 p.m. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, July 16th, at 11 a.m. on ticketmaster.com and at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater Box Office.

This announcement further packs out an already stellar summer concert series at the Amphitheater including shows from Brad Paisley, ZZ Top, Santana, the Beach Boys, Lady A, Harry Connick, Jr. and more.

The Revivalists have been a household name in alternative rock since their now platinum-selling single "Wish I Knew You" skyrocketed to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 upon its release in 2016.

The band creates a big, soulful Louisiana sound with the help of two drummers, a horn section and the vocals and guitar of electric frontman David Shaw.

The soulful Marcus King Band is built around the 25-year-old guitar phenom and singer-songwriter of the same name backed up by drums, bass and brass.

The September concert promises to be a welcome addition to the Amphitheater's lineup fir fans of bluesy, alternative rock.

Grab tickets when they go on sale Friday, or tune in to Tuscaloosa's Alt 101.7 this week for the chance to win a pair to this killer show.
