SWAT Team Heading to West Tuscaloosa for Barricaded Suspect Thursday
The Tuscaloosa Police Department's SWAT Team was dispatched to a housing complex in the city's west end Thursday evening to respond to a barricaded suspect.
Stephanie Taylor, a TPD spokesperson, confirmed to the Thread that TPD and its SRT team were at Creekwood Village in west Tuscaloosa.

There was a large police presence there at 5:30 p.m. Thursday and Taylor said officers were working to deal with a barricaded suspect.
UPDATE: TPD said the suspect was taken into custody at 6:06 p.m.
Taylor later said the man arrested was 21-year-old Keanthony Durrell Robinson, who was wanted for allegedly discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling at the same place - Creekwood Village - on January 18th.
He surrendered to TPD a little over an hour after the standoff began.
