Tuscaloosa’s Second 7 Brew Celebrates Opening With Gift to Children’s
A wildly popular drive-thru coffee shop celebrated the grand opening of its second Tuscaloosa location Friday morning with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a check presentation to the state's premier pediatric hospital.
Any commuter who uses 15th Street knows how busy the city's first 7 Brew can get on any given day of the week.
Building on that popularity, the company opened a second "stand" on Skyland Boulevard this week, offering highly customizable coffees, teas, energy drinks and adding over 65 jobs to the area.

"This is our 19th stand in two years, so we're really building fast and furious," said Marjorie Perlman, Chief Marketing Officer for 7 Brew. "This is our second in Tuscaloosa, and we're so excited about that. We absolutely know that this town is big enough for the both of us. We're excited to continue to grow here."
Perlman and staff from the Skyland Boulevard 7 Brew also presented a $1,000 check to Children's of Alabama and UA Miracle, the University of Alabama student organization that annually organizes a Dance Marathon to raise money for the hospital.
"We deeply appreciate 7 Brew's ongoing commitment to Children’s of Alabama, which enables us to support families throughout the state and here in Tuscaloosa during challenging periods in their lives," expressed Delaney Haase, the community development coordinator at Children’s of Alabama. "Their partnership and dedication to making a positive difference in our community are truly valued."
David Morrison, the chief operating officer for 7 Brew's Alabama operations, also joined the team and stepped into the pit with the Skyland Boulevard crew to make a few drinks himself.
The Skyland Boulevard 7 Brew is now open every day at 5:30 a.m. and stays open until 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
They're at 1404 Skyland Boulevard East in front of the now-closed Dirt Cheap store.
