Coffeeville Woman Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash Outside Gordo
A Coffeeville woman was killed Monday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash in Pickens County, according to the State Troopers.
The driver, 40-year-old Patricia K. Hudson, was pronounced dead at the scene after her 2015 Hyundai Veloster left the roadway on Crossroads Church Road near Crawford Road outside of Gordo.
Sergeant Reginal King, a spokesperson for the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, said the crash happened at about 1:15 p.m. Monday, around five miles northeast of Gordo.
King said Hudson's vehicle struck a ditch and overturned. She was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the Troopers, whose Highway Patrol Division will continue to investigate the deadly crash.
Gordo is in Pickens County about 25 miles west of Tuscaloosa.
