Reginald Eric Jenkins (August 2nd 1952 – April 18th, 2025)

Eric passed peacefully on April 18th, 2025.

Eric was born on 08/02/1952 to Imogene Jenkins. He lived his entire life in Fayette and Lamar counties.

Eric is survived by his aunt, Jennifer Jenkins Butler, along with many cousins, friends and neighbors.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Guin family cemetery in Lamar County - Eric maintained, mowed and cleaned the Guin family cemetery for many years.

He enjoyed fishing and gardening. He was always sharing tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers along with other fruits of his labor with family and friends. Eric was a happy person and always willing to help anyone he could. Our world was a better place with Eric in it. He is greatly loved and sorely missed by everyone who knew him.
