Laurel Marcelle Grinstead (September 7th, 1933 – June 15th, 2023)

Laurel Marcelle Grinstead, age 89 of Tuscaloosa, passed away June 15, 2023.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 11:00 am at Magnolia Chapel South with Bro. Chris Barnett officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

She is preceded in death by her husband; Billy C. Grinstead, parents; Elzie and Inez Lee, sisters; Jimmie Nell White (Billy), Pat Montgomery, Vickie McAdams (Jimmy), and brother; Clinton Lee (Jimmy Nell).

She is survived by her sons; Billy Steven Grinstead, David Wayne Grinstead (Amy), brothers; Pete Lee (Liz), Doug Lee (Carla), grandchildren; Inez Groff (Zach), Emily Grinstead, great grandchildren; Riley Groff and Piper Groff, special sister-in-law; Bobbie Conner, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Marcelle worked 30 years at Westinghouse in Pickens County and 30 years in the business department at DCH Regional Medical Center. She was Baptized at the age of 16 into The Church of God of Prophecy and Cottondale Community Church.
