Police in West Alabama seized homemade gun parts, silencers, marijuana and cash during a traffic stop on Highway 82 in West Alabama.

The Pickens County Sheriff's Office detailed the seizures in a Monday Facebook post and said deputies pulled over a vehicle on Saturday and brought out a K9 named Zuna to assist in searching that car.

The vehicle turned out to be a motherlode, police said. Deputies recovered close to a pound of marijuana, 3D-printed lower receivers for AR-style rifles, a 9-millimeter handgun, an AR-15, home-built silencers, ammunition, cash and drug paraphernalia.

The PCSO said the receivers can be used to create untraceable semiautomatic rifles "typically used in the commission of serious crimes."

The Facebook post did not identify the suspect but said they have been jailed on drug charges and others will soon be filed against them.
