Tuscaloosa Man Charged With Attempted Murder for Shooting at Northport Tattoo Parlor
A Tuscaloosa man has been jailed after he allegedly opened fire at a Northport tattoo parlor in a reportedly targeted shooting this weekend.
According to court documents filed Monday, 21-year-old Joshua Nicholas Barron arrived at Symbolic Ink tattoo shop on Lurleen Wallace Boulevard in Northport shortly before 3:15 p.m. Saturday.

Barron allegedly called a man inside the shop and ordered him to step outside the business.
The Tuscaloosa man then reportedly fired shots at the man he'd drawn outside, striking one vehicle and a nearby residence.
The intended victim was not hit, and Northport police investigators arrived to process the scene, collect evidence and interview witnesses.
Ultimately, they charged Barron with attempted murder.
Barron was booked in the Tuscaloosa County Jail, where his bond was set at $50,000 and he remained on Tuesday.
