
Junior League of Tuscaloosa Names Leadership Team for 2025 – 2026
A nonprofit organization dedicated to nurturing women leaders in West Alabama and helping them network has named its leadership team for 2025 - 2026, they announced this week.
The Junior League of Tuscaloosa has served area women for almost 100 years, giving them leadership skills and local connections that empower their 60-plus active members to aid the region better.

The 2025-2026 Junior League of Tuscaloosa Board and Management Team includes:
President: Danielle Kimbrough Spikes
President Elect: Chelsea Ratcliff
Executive Vice President: Kate Gundling
Executive Vice President Elect: Mary K Schmitt
Vice President of Finance/Treasurer: Paula Lopez
Secretary: Estella Hare
Nominating Committee Chair: Lauren Hope
Sustainer Advisor: Jackie Wuska
Members at Large: Jamelia Kelly and Chelsea Barton Kelly
Assistant Treasurer: Michele Erdman
Vice President of Administration: Karley Fernandez Conley
Vice President of Communications: Laura Braddick
Vice President of Fund Development: Donmonique Morgan
Vice President of Membership: Raychel Davidson
The new leadership group will focus on a series of initiatives this year, including the International Find the Good Day Community Blood Drive on Sept.18, continuing their partnership with Holt Elementary School, organizing the annual Northport Bunny Trail next spring, and more.
“As we embark on this League year, our mission is clear — to prepare women to lead with purpose, courage and vision,” said President Danielle Kimbrough Spikes. “The Junior League of Tuscaloosa is more than a service organization; we are a catalyst for leadership development. Our members are equipped to assume greater roles in the community and to drive meaningful, lasting change."
2029 will mark the organization's centennial, and JLT leadership said they remain committed to West Alabama women.
“Our members are decision-makers, innovators, and advocates,” Kimbrough Spikes said. “We are committed to moving beyond short-term volunteer projects to initiatives that build stronger systems and empower more people. That’s the legacy we are building in West Alabama.”
