Heat Index Values on the Rise in Southwest Alabama

Heat index values are expected to rise to 108 degrees in portions of Alabama today.

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a “Heat Advisory” until 9 p.m. today for Dallas, Greene, Hale, Marengo, Perry, Pickens, and Sumter counties.
