Former Alabama Cornerback Delivers Message to Team About “Little Things”
Former Alabama cornerback Marlon Humphrey recently spoke with the Crimson Tide football team, emphasizing a point that Nick Saban hammered home numerous times with his championship-winning teams.

Whether you call it attention to detail or the little things, they can stack up to eventually be monumental problems that can cost a team a national title. Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey emphasized the point to the 2025 roster, and the message was relayed by Alabama cornerback Domani Jackson.
"It was just about the little things," Jackson said. "The little things that add up, periodically over time that's gonna hurt you in the end if you don't change it now."
"But it's those little things that matter," Jackson continued. "And when you think it doesn't matter, those little things add up over time, and it's gonna hurt you. That's what we did last year."
That attention to detail, Jackson says, is much improved among the Tide's roster this season.
"That's what we changed during this offseason, and it's gonna help," he said.
"It was 100% [last season]," Jackson said. "Now it's probably 1000% how much we care about it."
"That's one thing we took into consideration this offseason. We have to do every little thing right. If one person messes up, that's a touchdown, or that's a fumble."
