According to Alabama's NIL Collective, Yea Alabama, the Crimson Tide flipped Syracuse tight end commit Michael Nnabuife, a three-star tight end from St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland. Nnabuife is a three-star tight end in the 2027 recruiting class, with 247 Sports ranking him as the No. 53 overall tight end and the No. 28 player in the state of Maryland. 247 Sports Composite rankings rank the 6-foot-5, 242-pound tight end as the No. 1028 overall player in the recruiting class.

247 Sports Director of Scouting Andrew Ivins wrote in his evaluation of Nnabuife:

"-True Y projection that already has plenty of in-line experience.
-Looks the part as he’s believed to be pushing 6-foot-5 and already carrying 250 pounds.
-Can wall off run lanes with his power and aggression as he chops his feet and establishes positioning.
-Limited production to date as a pass catcher, but tested much better than expected summer before junior year and is a tough tackle when given a runway.
-Likely to fit a key role for a Power Four offense heavy on the two and three tight end sets given how he holds his own at the point of attack."

Tight end isn't the only position that Alabama added to over the weekend, with Andrew Bone of Bama OnLine reporting that top-ten kicker Luke Cody has also committed to Alabama.

Cody is a kicker from Lumberton High School in Lumberton, Texas, who received an official offer from the Crimson Tide over the weekend, and he committed.
