Expect Heavy Delays on Interstate 20/59 Eastbound After Hazmat Spill Near Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Interstate 20/59 eastbound has been reduced to one lane following a hazmat spill near the Mallisham Parkway.
Townsquare Media Traffic Reporter "Captain" Ray Allen says the accident occurred Friday morning when an 18-wheeler was involved in a collision.

"ALDOT tells me the outside lane will be closed almost all day," Allen said.
Allen said ALDOT has a special crew on the way to clean the site, and it's going to take several hours before the outside lane is open to traffic. Drivers are advised to seek an alternate route.
