Robert "Bob" Taylor, 72, of Northport, Al passed away at his home on Dec. 30th, 2021, with his loving wife by his side.

Bob is survived by his wife of 18 years, Ruth Ann Taylor; daughters by heart: Delana (Waylon) Wise of Phil Campbell, Al, Chris (Gregg) Burgess of Winfield, Al, Lora Franks of Baldwin, Fl and Amy (Wes) Wilder of Northport, Al; two brothers: Bill and Dennis; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Elanor (Ellie) Taylor, his son Robert (Robbie) Taylor, his brother Dave and his sister Joan.

Bob was a member of Arbor Springs Baptist Church in Northport, Al. He was an Army Veteran and served his country in the Vietnam War. He wore many hats thru his life, but enjoyed woodworking, cabinet building and making lamp-work beads the most.

He loved his cats. He enjoyed fishing, watching old movies and collecting trains, ships and clocks. Most of all, he loved cherished time with family.

The family would like to thank the Amedisys Hospice family for their excellent care and faithful friendship and support.

Bob's memorial service will be held at Arbor Springs Baptist Church in Northport, Al on Saturday January 8th at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his memory to the Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude Children's Hospital. Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home is serving the Taylor Family.
