Accident Closes a Portion of I 20/59, Traffic Rerouted to Highway 11

An accident on Interstate 20/59 this morning has blocked a portion of the roadway.

Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Traffic Reporter "Captain" Ray Allen says the wreck occurred near mile marker 49 of 20/59 eastbound. Traffic has been rerouted onto US Highway 11 while crews work to clear the scene of the accident.
