Gann allegedly provided a fake ID to the officer, who was already familiar with Gann and knew the name and license he was using did not match his identity.

Police found Gann and the woman with whom he was traveling, 43-year-old Kellie Christine Beasley, both had arrest warrants out with TCSO, and both were detained at the traffic stop in Northport Monday.

As TCSO searched the vehicle, deputies "immediately located an active meth lab in a red purse on the passenger side."

Using a plethora of household products, some tubing and camp fuel, Beasley was allegedly manufacturing methamphetamine in her purse. Police say she admitted to knowing the process to cook the controlled substance and the duo set about making some they obtained cold medicine with pseudoephedrine in it.

Officers also found two handguns during the stop and recovered more than 140 grams of methamphetamine oil after they deactivated the purse lab.

Gann was ultimately charged with first-degree manufacturing methamphetamine, trafficking methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, manufacturing paraphernalia and obstruction of justice by providing false ID to law enforcement.

He was booked in the Tuscaloosa County Jail, where his combined bond is set at $2,027,500. He remained there Thursday.

Beasley, the alleged cook, faces all the same charges except obstruction. Her bond was set at $2,020,000. She also remained jailed Thursday.
