Police Arrest Man for Double Shooting at Tuscaloosa Bar That Allegedly Kicked Him Out
Police have arrested the man they say opened fire on a Tuscaloosa bar late last month, leaving one person critically injured and another with minor injuries.
Responding Tuscaloosa Police officers found one victim at the bar who had been shot twice and he was taken to DCH Regional Medical Center for treatment. The second victim arrived at the hospital soon after with injuries that were not life-threatening.

The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit has been interviewing witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage since the shooting, and on Tuesday, they arrested 29-year-old Lorenzo Alphonso Jones, Jr.
In court documents filed Wednesday, police said Jones, a Cottondale man, was captured on surveillance cameras getting kicked out of Dave's Crimson Bar and coming back with a firearm.
Police say security working the door tried unsuccessfully to wrestle the gun away from Jones and kicked him out again, still armed.
"After being kicked out again, gunshots immediately happen from outside of the bar going into the bar full of customers," investigators said in a deposition.
The evidence and witness accounts were enough for police to charge Jones with two counts of first-degree assault and one count of discharging a gun into an occupied building.
Jones was placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail, where he remains Wednesday with no bond yet set.
