Please be sure to know the difference between a tornado watch and a tornado warning. According to the NOAA National Severe Storms Laboratory, a Tornado Watch means that “weather conditions are favorable for tornadoes and severe weather.” A Tornado Warning means that a “tornado has been reported by spotters or indicated by radar and there is a serious threat to life and property to those in the path of the tornado.” A Tornado Warning truly means that “you should ACT NOW to find safe shelter.”
Primary Threats
A few tornadoes and a couple of intense tornadoes are possible
Scattered damaging winds and isolated significant gusts to 75 mph are possible
