Third Person Dies in University Boulevard Crash in Tuscaloosa, Alabama
A third person involved in the September 30 car accident on University Boulevard has died, officials have confirmed.
Stephanie Taylor, TPD's public information officer, said that Mary Hagadom, 35, of Brookwood died from injuries sustained in the crash at DCH Regional Medical Center Thursday morning.
The crash occurred early the morning of September 30 when a Chevrolet S10 collided head-on with a Nissan Sentra. Two of the S10's occupants were instantly killed in the crash, identified as 40-year-old Marty Dale Green and 35-year-old Ashley Denise Stewart, both of Northport.
Hagadom, the third occupant of the S10, was transported to DCH in critical condition.
Taylor said investigators believe the driver of the Sentra was traveling west on University Boulevard early Thursday morning when he crossed the center line and collided with the truck.
The driver of the Sentra, 33, remains hospitalized in serious condition at UA as of publishing. He is expected to survive.
